.CHAPTER SPOTLIGHT
NARI of Central Ohio
NARI of Central Ohio was fortunate to welcome NARI CEO Christine Melendes, CAE for a whirlwind visit last week. Christine visited two remodeling projects in progress and two member showrooms. In between our Board members were able to gather for a meet & greet lunch. After lunch, she paid a visit to the chapter's Community Service Project, Huckleberry House. Huck House is a shelter for troubled youth which serves 500 kids each year. NARI remodelers gave the bedrooms and bathrooms a much-needed facelift.
The main event of the day was the NARI NEXT panel discussion “How to Succeed in the Remodeling Industry”. Panelists were Monica Lewis, MCR, UDCP (JS Brown & Co.), George Cleary, CR (The Cleary Company) and Christie Miller (Hamilton Parker). Christine served as panel moderator.
The evening was a great success, and the chapter hopes to do it again!

Houzz: Most households proceeding with remodeling, survey finds

The vast majority of U.S. homeowners are “moving forward with their home improvement projects,” even in the face of industry and economic headwinds, a major new survey has found.
Conducted by Houzz in October, the survey of nearly 4,000 homeowners found that only 1 percent of the homeowners polled report having canceled a home improvement project in 2022.
