User Fees Proposed for Special Permits and Approvals in Transportation Budget Legislation
PHMSA is asking Congress to approve a budget with these fees incorporated into it. PHMSA does not currently have the authority to assess these fees. If the budget passes with this in it, the agency will have to do a rulemaking in order to get it done.More
