		Government Withholding Relief Coalition NSPS    Share    The Senate's amended version of HR 674 passed last week in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 422 to 0. With this House vote, the Coalition has overcome the final hurdle in Congress. President Obama signed the bill into law Monday, Nov. 22. The Coalition's team win in repealing the 3 percent withholding tax mandate will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. More DoT gives blank stare on LightSquared GPS World    Share    The U.S. Department of Transportation has responded to a Freedom of Information Act request by GPS World magazine for its recommendations to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration regarding LightSquared interference with the GPS signal. The DoT wrote, "We are withholding two pages [of 13 relevant pages] in part and 1 pages in their entirety," and enclosed two completely blacked-out pages. More Revett receives favorable decision from Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Revett Minerals Inc.    Share    Revett Minerals Inc. is pleased to announce it has just received an affirmative decision from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit relating to the Endangered Species Act appeal filed by the Rock Creek Alliance and other environmental groups. The Court affirmed that "the Fish and Wildlife Service's determination that the mine would entail 'no adverse modification' to bull trout critical habitat and would result in 'no jeopardy' to grizzly bears was not arbitrary, capricious or in violation of the Endangered Species Act." The Company is currently reviewing the decision and its implications and will provide further updates and comments in due course.
