Oracle CEO Safra Catz: In cloud, 'we basically move in with you'
Acceleration Economy
While the degree of difficulty for changing the culture of a middle-aged engineering-driven company ranks somewhere between improbable and impossible, Safra Catz says Oracle has spent the past few years mastering the art of putting its customers instead of its code at the center of Oracle’s universe.
“That’s the big difference,” Catz said late last year at Oracle CloudWorld. “Instead of just selling our customers stuff, our real job is to actually partner with them to run their businesses.”

Oracle develops cloud customization strategy in line with key trends
Forbes
History repeats itself. If he had been around for the birth of the web and the rise of cloud computing, Mark Twain might have pointed to his suggestion that, “No occurrence is sole and solitary, but is merely a repetition of a thing which has happened before… and perhaps often."

Why sometimes outside the box is just 'returning to things that work'
Human Resource Executive
Like many HR professionals in early 2020, Jeff Ostermann had lofty visions of what the short-term future looked like. He had been with Sweetwater, the musical instrument company, since 2012, working in a variety of business development roles. But he took over as the company’s chief people officer in 2020, excited about moving into the HR space and all that it entailed: culture, connection and wellbeing, to name a few.

3 top trends data and analytics professionals need to watch
Transforming Data with Intelligence
Like a lot of startups, we’re spending more time lately looking back on 2022 and planning ahead for 2023. Before my co-founder and I started Miso, back when we were graduate students at the small data lab at CornellTech in 2014, the idea of privacy-first personalization felt like an intellectual challenge we couldn’t resist.

Improving digital transformation by deploying technology the right way
Forbes
“Rollout” is a term that is often used to describe the process of introducing new technology into the workplace. New research reveals surprising findings about quality of hire
ERE
Finding meaningful metrics has proven to be recruiting’s white whale since the first candidate applied for the first job.
