21 HR jobs of the future
    Harvard Business Review
The coronavirus has drastically reshaped the economy and the labor force. Since its rapid spread around the globe, we have experienced titanic shifts in how we work, where we work, and the technologies we use to stay connected.Such massive change is escalating the importance of HR’s role within organizations. Workers are turning to their managers and their HR leaders, in particular, for guidance on how to navigate their “new normal” — research indicates that 73 percent of workers depend on their employer for support in preparing for the future of work. Just as CFOs have greatly increased their scope since the 2008 financial crisis, CHROs now have that same opportunity to become central C-suite players.

The ethical implications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in HR: How can CHROs respond?
    Oracle Blogs
Artificial intelligence and machine learning are now embedded in our daily lives, whether it’s in the selection of films recommended by your preferred streaming service or a list of suggested featured products to buy on your online shopping carts. These features use algorithms to predict what you are likely to consume based on past behavioral and consumer data. The use and expansion of AI capabilities have been growing exponentially, with investment in the emerging technology alone increasing 15-fold in five years . This trend suggests that organizations have high expectations for emerging technologies to help maximize output, profitability, labor productivity, and engagement. However, this rapid growth trajectory may also undermine the unintended risks involved in using them.

HR’s mandate to model diversity and inclusion
    Human Resource Executive
As the role of HR within organizations rapidly evolves amid the coronavirus pandemic and ensuing financial concerns, HR leaders also face another challenge that is redefining the position: navigating social justice issues, which have reached heightened levels after the death of George Floyd and subsequent nationwide protests. While public statements from companies supporting Black Lives Matter have been the norm, many HR executives say they need to be the leaders in helping their companies go further. Human Resource Executive
As the founding partner of Future Workplace, an HR advisory and research firm, Jeanne Meister spends much of her professional time thinking about artificial intelligence, HR and how the future will shake out. Currently, that’s a future that is being rapidly reshaped by the pandemic. As more employers look to AI as part of the solution to the myriad challenges that will arise post-pandemic, Meister, while a strong proponent of AI-based solutions, says organizations must safeguard data, taking steps to avoid potential bias and a lack of transparency.

Dining in the time of COVID-19: Safe service with a smile brings loyalty in abundance!
    Oracle Blogs
Food…from catching, growing and harvesting it, to preparing, serving and enjoying it, from hook and farm to table and fork; each and all transcend cultures the world over.
