As with years past, we are receiving reports of fraudulent hotel reservation scams in relation to OTE. Should you receive calls or emails from any hotel representative encouraging you to book your room through them or asking for personal information, please disregard it. The Delta Hotel and Conference Centre is our only host hotel and they will not call you to book. You must book directly online through the links provided or call their reservation line directly. Visit https://ote.ca/accommodation/ for details.
Tips to avoid this type of scam:
- Do not book a room with anyone that calls you out of the blue.
- Remember that the hotel will not contact you to book your room. You will need to contact them and quote the room block name in order to book as part of the event.
- Do not provide personal information or your credit card number unless you initiated the transaction directly with the Delta Hotel at 416-244-1711

This route is operated by Kupers Touringcars of the Netherlands and a partner in this solar-project. The solar panels generate energy for the bus’ electrical consumption. This effectively reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Since transit fleets represent a significant financial investment, smart fleet managers continually look for ways to maximize the productive life and value of their vehicles.

As soon as March hits and we get past that “one last dump” of snow that always seems to remind the Okanagan Valley that it is still technically winter, we will be thrust into “the season.”
That season is the inevitable filling up of the Google calendar with wine/beer/spirits/cider events, the throwing open of winery and bistro doors to the spring sunshine, and the making of lists of culinary hot spots to visit this summer when company arrives.
