The COVID-19 Pandemic has hammered the transportation sector. Faced with massive declines in ridership, increased costs for doing business including insurance, bus cleaning, PPE, to name a few, a coalition of family owned bus transportation companies has formed.
The Wilson’s Group, Pacific Western Group of Companies, Kasper Transportation and Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus have formed Coast to Coast Bus Coalition, with a vision of working toward the creation of a new national inter community bus transportation network with the bus transportation industry working in coalition with each other.

ONE SINGLE REQUEST: WTTC wants clear rules for mobility

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) told Europe’s tourism ministers last week that it has “one single request”: clear rules for mobility to facilitate the restoration of travel — rules built on co-ordination between countries and testing rather than vaccines.
The call came during the EU Tourism Ministers Meeting in Portugal, as the WTTC urged the gathering of governmental leaders to save a Travel & Tourism sector that has been left in ruin by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After a 'bloodbath' of a year, Toronto tourism association looks ahead to recovery

The month of September was a brief window of reprieve for Toronto tour operator Sash Munjal in what was otherwise a devastating year.
"We got tours going from Aug. 29 until Oct. 6, when the premier made his announcement that we were going back into restrictions," Munjal, who owns ShortTrips.ca, told CBC Toronto.
"The entire tourism sector pretty much got a bit of a bloodbath" due to COVID-19, he said.
