The annual campaign from the Canadian Automobile Association is now in its 15th year of bringing attention to roadways that have deteriorated because of potholes, deteriorating pavement, limited or non-existent cycling or walking infrastructure, or poor road signs. "The annual CAA Worst Roads advocacy campaign has influenced change for 15 years," said Raymond Chan, government relations, CAA South Central Ontario. "We are calling on all Ontarians to vote for their worst road today and join the community of drivers, cyclists and pedestrians committed to improving Ontario’s roads. We are all road users, and everyone has a role to play to make roads safer."

The bid group hoping to bring the 2026 World Cup to North America has unveiled its 23 candidate cities but not without a crack to its much-ballyhooed unity theme.
The list of potential host cities includes Edmonton, Montreal and Toronto. But Vancouver joined Chicago and Minneapolis in dropping out at the last minute over concerns about FIFA’s demands.
