OMCA
This training event is ideal for coach operators, safety managers, supervisors, and directors. A half-day summit hosted by the Ontario Office of the Attorney General, the TAT Canada Committee, the Ontario Motor Coach Association, and Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT). The training will feature a Human Trafficking 101 presentation by the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, information on training resources for trucking, truck stop, bus (charter, transit and school), energy companies, a presentation by a survivor-leader/field trainer and a law enforcement panel. 'Open for tourism again': Canada eyes recovery as COVID-19 travel rules ease
Global News
With Canada further easing COVID-19 restrictions at its borders, travel experts are seeing a surge in demand for international trips, but summer bookings for Europe are modest amid concerns about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
Starting April 1, fully vaccinated travellers will not be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test upon entering Canada. The federal government had already eliminated the pre-arrival PCR test requirement last month, allowing travellers to show a rapid antigen test instead.
