Just a reminder to all motor coach and charter operators that this busy Easter weekend is the perfect time to take advantage of OMCA’s Border Planner tool, allowing you to schedule your border crossing time in advance. By doing so, USCBP and CBSA can manage resources accordingly and aim to expedite the border crossing passage for your customers. The tool is completely free, easy to use and only takes two minutes to book! Bookings can be changed right up until crossing time giving you the flexibility to adjust for those unexpected delays or unanticipated early arrivals!

In a perfect world, all expenses in your businesses would be variable. The economy takes a turn for the worse? No problem, your rent just went down 10%. However, what about the flip side of that proposition the economy and or your customer activity results in improved revenue and income, are you willing to share in the upside? The default answer is 'why?'.
For many years, I've been preaching the benefits of adjusting your compensation practices to be geared (more) towards variable compensation, or what I prefer to call Performance Pay. If done correctly (and fairly), a Performance Pay model has the ability to transform corporate culture, improve profitability and make a positive financial impact on those non-driving associates who want to achieve more and be compensated for going the extra mile.

The King Street transit pilot project is weathering another bout of criticism over its effectiveness.
Using the city's own data, a new study suggests that the pilot project's effect on travel times has been "modest at best" and claims that increased ridership numbers can be attributed to added streetcars and not traffic changes.
The review, conducted by Ryerson University professor Murtaza Haider, was released Monday by the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA).

The Canadian Automobile Association's (CAA) Worst Roads campaign recently opened up the vote for this year's worst road in Ontario.
