The Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (Ontario Northland) and Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Division 910 announced that they have reached a tentative, five-year agreement.
The tentative agreement covers 54 employees working as Motor Coach Operators, Operator Labourers and Dispatchers.

Ontario is widening the four-kilometre stretch of Highway 401 from Hurontario Street to the Credit River in Mississauga from six to 12 lanes. One of more than 230 highway construction projects starting this year, the 401 expansion will improve traffic flow and support 800 construction jobs.

Some of the big players in the Niagara Falls tourism industry are "talking seriously" about the Destination Marketing Fee (DMF), says Niagara Falls Tourism chairman Wayne Thomson.
