Electric Shuttle Buses Coming to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) in 2023

Nieuport Aviation, along with shuttle bus service provider TOK Group, announced recently an order for six (6) Vicinity Lightning™ electric buses. This announcement is one of the initiatives Nieuport Aviation is undertaking to reduce its environmental impact as part of its sustainability plan. The buses will replace the current diesel-powered shuttle bus fleet connecting passengers between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Union Station.

Sudbury 'takes road safety seriously'; City hosting national conference for road safety experts

Greater Sudbury is playing host to delegates who take road safety very seriously.
Although the city did bid to host the annual conference, the Canadian Association of Road Safety Professional (CARSP) said it chose Sudbury to host this year because the municipality has been proactive, by implementing road safety designs and active travel projects. This includes roundabouts and protected cycling lanes.
