OMCA
At the recent Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) Annual General Meeting, Jim Diebel of Hanover Holidays was appointed as the OMCA representative on the TICO Board, replacing Ray DeNure whose term had come to an end. Jim has previously served on the Board as an elected representative and so brings a solid understanding of TICO and the challenges facing it. This will be incredibly important as the Government reviews the Travel Industry Act with an eye to making changes for 2018. No doubt Jim's experience and leadership will serve both OMCA and TICO well!
At the same time, it is appropriate to thank Ray DeNure for his years of service on the TICO Board. He was an excellent representative for the industry and for the association and he has earned our profound gratitude for his efforts.
