OMCA
With all eyes on the skies, we lucked out and had a great day for our 46th Annual OMCA Golf Tournament in Niagara Falls! We hope everybody enjoyed the surprisingly good weather and great company. Thank you to all of our golfers, members and guests, volunteers and sponsors who participated in making our 46th Annual Golf Tournament another great summer event.
Thanks to the support we received, whether you were a sponsor or raffle ticket buyer (or both!), we raised $2,145 through the sales of our raffle tickets and the putting contest. The funds will go to the Mary Lynn Higgins Youth Fund, which provides opportunities for disadvantaged youth to join their classmates on school trips.
Thank you also to our sponsors for helping us make it all happen this year:
Caesars Windsor, Can-Ar Coach, Casino Rama Resort, Crestline Coach Ltd., Duty Free Americas, Fallsview Casino, Greyhound Bus Lines, The Magnes Group Inc, Motor Coach Industries (MCI), Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, Pacific Western Transportation, Prevost, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, Sight & Sound Theatres, Sound Insurance Services, Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), Turning Stone Resort Casino and Wajax.
Thank you again for joining us this week; we look forward to seeing you all next year!

The Toronto region is in the midst of what politicians are billing as a "transit renaissance," which will see a major build of badly needed public transportation across the GTHA for the first time in decades.
But according to a new report, unless governments find more funding to pay for those planned lines, the money will run out before the renaissance is even halfway completed.
