Any changes after today can be made on-site in Ottawa at the registration desk. Email info@omca.com with any changes that you need to be made.

Point Edward village council has approved Lambton County’s first accommodation tax, adding four per cent to bills for customers of hotels and other holiday rentals to fund local tourism marketing and facilities.
Council voted his week to put the tax in place beginning Jan. 1 after working with officials at Tourism Sarnia-Lambton to create the municipal bylaw matching the practice in approximately 40 other Ontario communities.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. has issued its second-quarter non-tax gaming revenue payment of $6 million to the City of Niagara Falls.
The payment, for July to September, was issued to the municipality for hosting Casino Niagara and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Tourisme Montréal's latest statistics confirm that the city enjoyed a strong summer for tourism in 2019. International tourist numbers increased five per cent compared with 2018. More specifically, the city attracted 20 per cent more visitors from Mexico, 14 per cent more from Germany and 10 per cent more from France. Meanwhile, the number of American tourists entering Québec grew three per cent. The influx of visitors is supported by the 90 direct flights connecting Montréal to international destinations. Tourisme Montréal is projecting that the city will record a 2.1 per cent overall increase in tourism for the year as a whole.

Northern Ontario Business
Road reconstruction and upgrading projects in Kenora and Dryden are receiving a combined $5.3 million in provincial funding.
The province is contributing $3.9 million toward an $8.7-million reconstruction of a 1.7 kilometre portion of Railway Street and 10th Avenue South in Kenora. The work involves fixing potholes, replace sidewalks, adding cycling lanes and new street lighting.
