Parents are being notified by the Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board that some school bus drivers have moved into a legal strike position.
Officials for both school boards recently drafted letters to alert parents that drivers for First Student Markham may soon be able to go on strike.

Ontario is building a new GO bus storage and maintenance facility in Kitchener that will improve transit service for commuters in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, and help meet current and future growth.

Toronto Mayor John Tory dismissed an aggressive push by some local politicians and business leaders for the city to bid on Expo 2025, dropping his neutrality on the issue and voting with his executive committee to recommend that city council kill the idea — for now.
