The 2015 OMCA Marketplace is coming to London and it all starts on Sunday, Nov. 15! Registration begins at 2:00 p.m.; Orientation will also open at that time for all OMCA Freshmen. Our first all-delegate evening event to kick off the week is the Ice Breaker at 7:00 p.m. at Toboggan Brewing Company, sponsored by your host city, Tourism London.

The Shopping Session is an opportunity to for Sellers to arrange additional appointments with Buyers they'd like to meet but didn't fit in their schedules. Shopping sessions take place on Monday, Nov. 16 and Tuesday, Nov. 17, 8:00 a.m. - 8:14 a.m. We kindly ask that all Buyers be in their booths by 8:00 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday to allow for Sellers to meet with them.

More tolls are coming to Ontario roads, Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca said recently, with details on the province's plans due in the next couple of months.
Del Duca was talking about a report by a group of environmentally minded policy types calling themselves "the Ecofiscal Commission" that says road tolls are the only way to handle worsening congestion.

The Highway 7 East project, which includes approximately six kilometres of rapidway, was launched in three stages.

Ontario Northland is changing its motor coach service due to low ridership, according to the company.
Tracy MacPhee, Director of Passenger Services for ONTC said, "We are shaping our motor coach services to be sustainable so we can continue to provide transportation to the communities we serve."

A tentative deal has been reached with Ontario's public elementary school teachers, ending a work-to-rule campaign that began in the spring.
Ontario Education Minister Liz Sandals and Sam Hammond, president of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO), announced the deal separately.

Ontario NDP MPP for Timiskaming-Cochrane John Vanthof called on the Acting Premier in the legislature this morning to address cuts to the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) in Northern Ontario.
"In 2012, this government cancelled our only passenger train in Northern Ontario. The reason was because they had an equivalent bus line, and they were going to provide enhanced bus service. Since then, they've closed bus stations, and [...] we learned that they're making even more cuts to bus routes."

It appears as if the city of Toronto's planning department will release a report detailing its opinion on the Davenport Diamond Overpass proposal.
Community groups have already expressed opposition to the plan, accusing Metrolinx of creating a "super bridge" to replace the Davenport Diamond rail crossing that will have the same effect as dropping the Gardiner Expressway into the neighbourhood.

Aboriginal Tourism Ontario ( ATO ) has established and will be releasing its updated 2020 strategic plan which identifies how the ATO can manage the future of Ontario's indigenous tourism for communities, businesses and partners while bolstering the economy with jobs and revenue.
"The ATO 2020 Strategic Plan is based on making our province an authentic tourism destination that will attract visitors from within Canada and abroad based on a brand of market-ready indigenous tourism products and services," states a press release from the ATO.
