Bus terminal to receive $1.4 million renovation

The city’s historic train station, now used as a bus terminal, will soon be receiving a significant renovation to its interior. At Tuesday evening’s city council meeting, director of Public Works and Environmental Services Ken Krcel provided an update and report to council that explained the $1.41-million construction cost to update the Spruce Street South landmark is primarily covered by the government.

Organizers say the vision for Convergence Music Festival is something similar to Peterborough Musicfest, which is Canada’s longest running, free admission summer concert series and drew 135,000 attendees in 2019.
