That's when police say the driver, 82-year-old Wilton Carr, was driving east in the right lane of the Indiana Toll Road and drove straight off the road, crashing into the embankment and sending the bus full of passengers flying.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has completed its investigation into a collision between a coach bus and a semi-tractor trailer on April 6, 2018. The collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 335 in rural Saskatchewan.
The investigation has determined that 16 people died as a result of the collision. In all of the deaths, the cause of death was injuries due to a motor vehicle collision. The manner of death was accidental.

The owner of a trucking company who’s driver caused a fatal bus crash in Saskatchewan, Canada, has plead guilty to five charges related to his company’s history of skirting federal safety regulations.
Sukhmander Singh, owner of the trucking company Adesh Deol Trucking pleaded guilty to charges that allege that his company failed to keep a daily drivers log, had more than one daily log book and had no formal safety program in place, according to a report in GlobalNews.ca. The company also failed to ensure that its drivers were complying with safety regulations.

GO Transit says it is cutting three "low-performing" bus routes and reducing service on two others to save $3.7 million annually.
The cuts, which are listed on its website under "Service Updates," are set to take effect on June 29. GO Transit announced in April that it was cutting a fourth GO Transit bus route.

All travellers crossing the border between Canada and the United States can expect to have some of their personal information recorded now that a new phase of a border agreement has been implemented.
The program started in 2012, when border agencies for both countries began collecting information on third-country nationals and permanent legal residents at four land border ports between the U.S. and Canada.
