If you haven't submitted your application to serve on PRIMA's Leadership Development Committee, its not too late! The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday, Nov. 9. The LDC interviews and selects candidates to be presented to the membership for election to fill open Board seats. PRIMA is now accepting applications to serve on this important committee. All committee members must be available to meet in PRIMA's office in Alexandria, Va., on March 12, 2012, and PRIMA will fund the travel expenses for this meeting. With the City Council apparently divided about whether to require all landlords to register rental property with Springfield, Mo., Mayor Jim O'Neal told staff to put the proposal in writing for a public hearing. "I'm sure there will be a sponsor and we can vote it up or vote it down," O'Neal said during a recent lunch meeting that ran almost half an hour long as council members debated a range of issues related to rental housing.
