CAE has secured defence contracts worth more than $175 million to provide simulation products, training services and in-service support for the US Air Force (USAF), US Marine Corps (USMC), and the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).
The contracts were awarded by Lockheed Martin, L3 MAS, and Airbus Defence and Space.
CAE Defence and Security president Gene Colabatistto said: "These orders augment the long-term, recurring revenue profile of our defence business.

Several planes that were tested more than 60 years ago are still at the bottom of Lake Ontario — but a recent announcement revealed there's a plan to find and remove them.
The Avro Arrow Fighter Jet project put Canada at the forefront of military aviation in the 1950s. The Arrow was considered a breakthrough fighter jet, and smaller models of it — around one-eighth of its original size — were launched over Lake Ontario from Point Petre (200 kilometres from Toronto) attached to high-powered booster rockets from 1954 to 1957.

China recently told Japan to "get used to it" after it flew six warplanes over the Miyako Strait between two southern Japanese islands in a military exercise.
Japan's defense ministry issued a statement describing the flyover by the formation of Xian H-6 bombers earlier that day as "unusual," while noting that there had been no violation of Japanese airspace.

Colonel Hadfield was the first Canadian to walk in space. A Royal Military College graduate, an engineer, and former Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) fighter pilot, Colonel Hadfield has flown two space shuttle missions and served as Commander of the International Space Station.
