Texas campgrounds create online RV park guide for Super Bowl

If you have customers thinking about heading to Dallas for the Super Bowl, the Texas Association of Campground Owners has just the ticket to help them find nearby campgrounds and RV parks. There's still some space available for Super Bowl weekend, but park operators expect campsites to book up quickly once the final teams are selected for the game.More

RV makers in Indiana hope 2011 is the year they finally turn the corner after the recession that battered their industry. A University of Michigan survey says the industry expects nearly 4 percent growth. That would follow a nearly 48 percent increase in shipments in 2010. Dealers tell The Goshen News they've seen financing become easier to get for RV buyers. But Phil Savari of Gulf Stream Coach in Nappanee, Ind., says the year's success will come down to whether consumers feel good and believe they are going to have jobs.More

Randy Potts elected president of Winnebago Industries
Winnebago Industries Inc., announced that the board of directors elected Randy Potts president, effective immediately. Potts, 52, is a 27-year veteran of Winnebago Industries, most recently serving as senior vice president, strategic planning.
