When police received a call from a woman who said her car was stuck inside a bay at a car wash, there already was a sense that this wasn't going to be the average police run — and it wasn't.
The call came in at about 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 from a distressed Rebecca Hodge of Woodhaven.
She had her 4-year-old son, Zachary, in the car with her at Brownstown Automatic Car Wash on Telegraph Road.
