Single Family Home Under 3,000 sq. ft. by Taiga Design+Build using SIPs by Energy Panel Structures (EPS).
This 1,337 sq. ft. single family residence, Creekside Home, located in Grand Marais, Minnesota, is recognized as Runner-up in the Single Family Home under 3,000 sq. ft. category of the 2019 SIPA Building Excellence Awards.
Built by SIPA member Taiga Design+Build, they develop infill properties within the city of Grand Marais with a focus on unique design and energy efficiency. By specializing in building with SIPs, manufactued by SIPA member Energy Panel Structures (EPS), both goals are met successfully. Quick assembly time made possible by using SIPs, has allowed for the build-out of projects in much shorter time frames which is important with the abbreviated building season in Minnesota.
