Virtual reality isn't just for entertainment. Educators are finding novel ways to incorporate virtual reality and 360° spherical videos into the classroom, and nutrition educators are in a prime position to develop engaging learning tools with this technology. This webinar, co-led by a media specialist, instructional designer, and nutrition faculty member, will introduce participants to the concept of virtual reality, including important technological and educational considerations. Using nutrition educator training videos as an example, the speakers will demonstrate the technology and provide tips for nutrition educators seeking to incorporate this technology in their nutrition education courses.
