SNEB has received a resolution for consideration which has met the criteria according to the Issues and Resolutions Policy. Building a nutrition education evidence data base to support policy and planning in developing countries. The resolution will be available for online member comment until 5 p.m. ET Sept. 21. Once the comment period closes, voting on the resolution begins. A ballot will be sent to all members by email with voting to close Oct. 21. A resolution is approved when at least 15 percent of the membership votes and the majority are in support of the resolution.

SNEB invites proposals for conference sessions and for pre- and post-meeting workshops for the 2017 Annual Conference July 20-24 in Washington, D.C. Session organizers must be SNEB members or working with an SNEB Division. Proposals are due by Friday, Oct. 7 and will be submitted online.

Students do not have adequate knowledge of age- and sex-specific food guide recommendations. Simpler food guide recommendations or age- and sex-targeted campaigns may enhance knowledge. Students intend to consume more vegetables and less HCFB; however, they have low coping self-efficacy, all of which could be targeted in nutrition interventions.
