Judges reject latest redistricting proposal
Austin American-Statesman    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and one of the main plaintiffs' groups suing the state in a redistricting case agreed to a compromise set of maps Monday, an arrangement that Abbott said should allow for primary elections to take place in April. But late Monday, the possibility of April primaries receded again as a panel of federal judges sent a message to Abbott: Keep trying. San Antonio Express-News    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
A slew of changes are now in effect for the state's homeowners associations, the love-'em-or-hate-'em groups that everyone seems to have an opinion about.
