Amarillo realtors seeing shortage of lots and homes to sell
KVII-TV
Chris Lyons with Lyons Realty said while recently home sales have been at a record high, his inventory and the amount of lots available to build on is low. However, Lyons said he usually has anywhere from 1,500 to 1,800 homes in the market. He now only has a little more than 1,100 including houses and land. He said the problem realtors are seeing is there are just not enough homes to sell, and there’s not enough lots to build on in Amarillo. Keller Williams Realty is another agency that said they’re seeing the same issue.
