Sappi presses ahead with €61 million papermaking machine project

Paper manufacturer Sappi is embarking on a €61 million investment on one of its papermaking machines at the Alfeld Mill, Germany. It is the biggest investment in the mill’s 300 year old history and Sappi said that it will create the world’s largest papermaking machine producing one-side coated and machine glazed bleached kraft.
