Flexible-packaging Demand to Climb 3.5 Percent a Year to 2013

Dubai's Al Ghurair May Buy Parts of Rio Tinto's Alcan Unit

Dubai's Al Ghurair Group, a family- run holding company with retail and manufacturing businesses, said it may buy packaging assets from Rio Tinto Group's Alcan unit. Al Ghurair's Arabian Flexible Packaging unit will look at any assets that may be sold off by either Alcan or Australia's Amcor Ltd., the unit's General Manager John Hetherton said by telephone. More
