Eastman Launches Shrink Film Copolyesters in Europe

U.S.-based Eastman Chemical Company is hoping to extend its reach in Europe with the launch of its Embrace family of copolyesters for shrink film applications in the region. The Embrace portfolio includes the HY product family, which provides a shrinkage of up to 80 percent, and the LV series, which offers a 30 percent reduced shrink force and is targeted at thin gauge bottles that may be susceptible to distortion during labeling.
